On page 975 of the same article, the authors would like to change “LDL cholesterol” in the first line of column 2 to “HDL cholesterol.” The correct sentence is as follows: “Our findings of significant independent associations of baseline concentrations of triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, and apoB with changes in proinsulin concentration over time are consistent with this pathophysiological mechanism.”
