In the print version of the article cited above, the 12-month weight loss data reported for the study by Katula et al., 2011 (ref. 42) are incorrect. This was due to an error in Table 2 of the original published version of the article by Katula et al., which wrongly specified pounds as the units for body weight; a correction changing the units to kilograms was published in February 2012 (Diabetes Care 2012;35:455). Dunkley et al. extracted data from Table 2 of the original published version. The meta-analysis has been repeated using the correct data, and the overall results and conclusions remain unchanged. The corrected Table 2 and Figure 2 appear below. Supplementary Tables 4 and 7 and Supplementary Figures 1 and 2 have been revised and are available in Supplementary Data–Revised online (http://care.diabetesjournals.org/lookup/suppl/doi:10.2337/dc13-2195/-/DC2). The entire article including abstract, text, Table 2, and Figure 2 has been corrected online.
Forest plot showing mean weight change in each study and the overall pooled estimate. Boxes and horizontal lines represent mean weight change and 95% CI for each study. Size of box is proportional to weight of that study result. Diamonds represent the 95% CI for pooled estimates of effect and are centered on pooled mean weight change. PREPARE, Pre-diabetes Risk Education and Physical Activity Recommendation and Encouragement.
