In the print version of the article cited above, there are several minor errors in Tables 1 and 2. These errors do not affect the results or conclusion of the study. In Table 1 (page 1839), sunlight exposure in summer should be >60 min/week not >30 min/week. In Table 2 (page 1841), the P value for preterm delivery should be P = 0.53 not 0.38 and the odds ratio for stillbirth should be 1.05 (95% CI 0.14–7.64) not 0.66 (95% CI 0.14–7.64). In Table 2, the correct birth weight centile for the low-dose group (400 IU vitamin D3) compared with the high-dose group (5,000 IU vitamin D3) should be median (IQR) 56.4 (48.5) versus 49.7 (51.7), P = 0.88 not 56.6 (48.3) versus 50.2 (51.7), P = 0.89.
