In the above-referenced article, it was stated in the Research Design and Methods subsection “Statistical Analysis” and in the Results subsection “Demand for PM Treatment” that pacemaker implantations during the time of observation were expressed as number of events per 10,000 person-years; however, the correct number is events per 100,000 person-years.
