Management of Hyperglycemia in Type 2 Diabetes


On September 23, 2022, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) jointly published Management of Hyperglycemia in Type 2 Diabetes, 2022, the latest update to a previously published consensus report last updated in 2019.

The 2022 report includes essential updates to current recommendations, with a focus on a holistic, person-centered approach to diabetes treatment and care, as well as practical tips for successful implementation. The report is jointly published by Diabetes Care and Diabetologia and is freely accessible at
