The American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions Planning Committee is soliciting noteworthy session proposals for the 81st Scientific Sessions, which will be held 25–29 June 2021 at the Walter E. Washington Convention center in Washington, D.C. The committee encourages submissions that are innovative, challenge current treatment paradigms, and represent the latest advances in basic, clinical, and translational science. This consensus statement provides evidence-based guidelines for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), as determined by an international panel of diabetes experts striving for consistent parameters for CGM blood glucose goals in both research and clinical settings.
