2025 Clinical Update Conference
The 2025 Clinical Update Conference will be held at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate from 31 January to 2 February. 85th Scientific Sessions: Call for Abstracts
The 85th annual American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions will be held in Chicago, Illinois, 20–23 June 2025, at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Abstract submission is now open. The committee encourages submissions that are innovative, challenge current treatment paradigms, and represent the latest advances in basic, clinical, and translational science. Article Highlights: New and Future Drugs to Treat Diabetes
A new Diabetes Spectrum From Research to Practice section reviews the rapidly changing landscape of obesity medicine, with a focus on the expanding armamentarium of pharmacotherapies. Articles in this timely collection review current treatment guidelines, first-generation medications that still play an important role, game-changing second-generation drugs from the glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist class, and the use of obesity drugs in the pediatric population.
