Special Podcast: Inpatient Diabetes Management


In this special edition of Diabetes Core Update, host Dr. Neil Skolnik interviews Mihail "Misha" Zilbermint, MD, MBA, FACE, associate professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He is also the director and chief of endocrinology at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and is the Guest Editor of the From Research to Practice section in the Fall 2022 issue of Diabetes Spectrum.

Dr. Zilbermint shares his expert advice for inpatient diabetes management, including the use of SGLT2 inhibitors and metformin and sliding scale diabetes management, and he and Dr. Skolnik discuss innovations in technology, typical case studies, and practical strategies to tackle common challenges.
