Terry Ridge, DNP, ANP-BC, BC-ADM, completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., and has worked for 15 years as a nurse practitioner in diabetes care. He maintains a certification as an adult nurse practitioner, is board-certified in advanced diabetes management, and is a certified clinical research coordinator.
In his clinical practice in a large primary care group in Indianapolis, Ind., Dr. Ridge provides care exclusively to people with diabetes. His research is similarly focused on the therapeutic care of diabetes and prediabetes. In the past 8 years, he has participated as either an investigator or a sub-investigator in more than 40 clinical trials focusing on diabetes and the metabolic syndrome. He has also published several articles on the management and treatment of diabetes.
